Speaking in today's language

    Lewis comments on this idea of using popular English language quite frequently.

    For me, I find it to be a good affirmation of why we do need the Bible translated into contemporary English. It's the only way for God's Word to be effectively heard and understood. I thought the TNIV was oustanding, but it's being replaced. I hope that the NIV 2011 is truly contemporary English and clear while retaining accuracy. We will see...
